The JJV Boys basketball game scheduled for (1/18) with Bishop Garrigan has been cancelled.

Belmond Klemme Schools will have a 2 hour late start on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. No morning preschool, no morning practices and no breakfast served.
The JJV game scheduled with Osage on (1/15) in Belmond has been cancelled.
JV/ Var. basketball games at Clarion on (1/15) and JH girls basketball against Eagle Grove at Belmond on (1/15) have ben postponed. A new date for both games will be announced at a later time.
Basketball games against Bishop Garrigan on 1/13 have been postponed. A new date is TBD.
As tomorrow's forecast has now moved to a status of blizzard conditions which means the visibility will be 1/4 mile or less, wind gusts will be 35 mph or greater and conditions will last 3 hours or longer, the BKCSD will be canceled for tomorrow, Friday, January 12, 2024.
The B-K Choir is excited for their new choir robes! Come to the Pops Concert on February 22nd to see them in person!
Winter Sports Coronation and Dance have been postponed to a later date due to incoming weather, plummeting temperatures, and student safety.
*Varsity G/B games with Lake Mills have changed from tomorrow, to tonight (1/11) in Belmond. Varsity girls will start at 5:15 pm, varsity boys to follow.

The B/G quad basketball games scheduled for (1/9) has been postponed to Saturday (1/13) in Belmond.
JV Girls will start at 11:00 am
JV Boys will start at 12:00 pm
Varsity Girls will start at 1:00 PM
Varsity Boys will start t 2:30 pm
Classes have been canceled on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 due to the impending storm, high winds forecast and anticipated poor road conditions. No practices.

JV girls will play 2 quarters tonight (12/15) at North Iowa starting at 4:15 with JV boys to follow. Varsity girls will start at 6:15 pm with varsity boys to follow.
CALLING ALL BAKERS… To celebrate our staff, we are inviting community members to bake goodies for a “B-K Staff Holiday Treat Walk” on December 21st. To show our staff how much we appreciate them, we invite you to help us reach a goal to have each staff member leave the building with at least one dozen cookies or treats. Goodies can be dropped off at each building’s front office starting on Wednesday, December 20th. We have approximately 120 staff members, so we are looking for a LOT( over 1440) of goodies. Thank you for considering joining us to celebrate our amazing Belmond-Klemme Community Schools Staff! LLAMANDO A TODOS LOS PANADEROS... Para celebrar a nuestro personal, estamos invitando a miembros de la comunidad a hornear delicias para una “Caminata de regalos navideños para el personal de B-K” el 21 de diciembre. Para mostrarle a nuestro personal cuánto los apreciamos, lo invitamos a ayudarnos a alcanzar la meta de que cada miembro del personal salga del edificio con al menos una docena de galletas o golosinas. ************************************************Los obsequios se pueden dejar en la oficina principal de cada edificio a partir del miércoles 20 de diciembre.
